Mastering wInsight® Workshop Outline

Mastering wInsight® (7 P.D.Us)

This course is for EVM analysts who are familiar with wInsight basics. The class is taught as a hands-on, computer based course so that the student may practice and learn powerful tips and techniques. Students will receive a copy of Earned Value Associates’ 200 page manual, Guide to Mastering wInsight, packed with hundreds of tested techniques for harnessing the power of wInsight.

The student must have prior wInsight experience or training. The basics of wInsight are not taught in this course. Unless prior arrangements are made, students must provide their own laptop, with wInsight 6.0 and wInsight Administrator 6.0 installed.

Laptops can be provided at additional cost.

Students are provided a CD containing wInsight registry entries to add functionality. This customized registry file contains over 35 filters, 45 views, 24 charts, and 2 reports. This enables the analyst to use views and filters that allow the analyst to efficiently assess data validity, analyze cumulative performance, evaluate estimate at complete realism, forecast future performance, and integrate cost, schedule, and risk performance.
